I agree 100% How can there be legit private armies? Whats to stop them from doing anything and how are they accountable to anyone? Craziness if you ask me.
Great find. Obama’s phraseology makes it less clear, but he is admitting that the State has a monopoly of Force. Or to use his words, the monopoly on violence is what sets a nation-state apart.
