That was very good for my sister and me, and I am grateful for that. But she failed to look into her own abusive relationship with her parents, which had eventually emotionally very damaging consequences for both of us children. I think she sensed that the changes that would have become obviously necessary were huge, and she was unconsciously choosing to avoid this knowledge. To explore your emotions about your childhood is extremely hard. Especially when 99.9% of people are surrounded by other people who think that it is wrong to explore emotions.
